Steve Wedge, Chief Financial Officer
Steven (Steve) Wedge is responsible for accounting, finance, IT and supply chain for thyssenkrupp Elevator Technology. He also works directly with the executive team to develop strategy and execution of business and leads the implementation of global initiatives.
Steve joined thyssenkrupp in 2002 as the regional controller for the southeast region and was promoted to vice president of finance in the U.S. field in 2009. He was named chief financial officer in 2013. Steve began his career in Kentucky in 1991 in accounting, finance and managerial roles in the automotive and telecom industries.
From 1987 until 1990, Wedge served in the U.S. Army and continued his military service in the U.S Army Reserves until 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Science in 1995 and a Masters of Business Administration in information technology from the University of Kentucky in 2001. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant. He is married and has two children.
Jennifer Olmstead, Chief Human Resources Officer
Jennifer Olmstead is the human resources business partner for the thyssenkrupp Elevator Technology AMS executive leadership team. Her key areas of focus are to lead the development and execution of the human resources strategy in alignment with the business needs across the business unit. Jennifer serves as a liaison between thyssenkrupp Elevator Technology AG, thyssenkrupp North America and thyssenkrupp AG to ensure alignment on elevator specific, regional and global human resources initiatives.
Jennifer has over 20 years of human resources experience and prior to joining us in 2015, served as vice president, human resources at Osram Sylvania Lighting Americas. She also spent 14 years with Siemens Corporation holding executive human resources roles within different divisions.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. In her free time, Jennifer likes to ride her motorcycle and explore her new home town of Atlanta.
